Erlah Burdic took this photo of the central Oregon coast while driving from Coos Bay to Newport in 2005.

"It was absolutely beautiful for a winter day and very warm, surprisingly," Burdic told TODAY.com. Before capturing this image, Burdic spent the day at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport.

"The coast is so pristine and there are so many gorgeous places to see," Burdic said. "Many, many light houses all along the way, but I can’t say I have one favorite really."
