Marine iguanas, Galapagos Islands
I had the pleasure of visiting the Galapagos Islands in October 2011. They lived up to their reputation as being one of the most special places on earth.
The islands, located several hundred miles off the coast of Ecuador, is where Charles Darwin came up with the theory of natural selection. They are the home to many endemic species found no where else on earth.
One species is the marine iguana, the only species of lizard that feeds at sea. These iguanas were sunning themselves on a rock when I walked past and took the time to pose for me.

Haha, those two look like they're posing for the camera!
Natural selection or is it the eco system they live in? I truly believe in the "theory" that they were created. Isn't everything designed and built? I am responding to the article. As usual I appreciate this section of MSN. I enjoy the pics. that people share with us. we live in a troubled world and it's nice to see a beautiful part of it that exists. Yeah, it does seem like they are posing.
